New in Daisy 2003

New features in this issue of Daisy are :-

• Aggregation types; Count Inside Mean/SD; Count Outside Mean/SD, SkewnessStandard Deviation and Variance have been added.

• The Calculation for Daisy Charts has been extended and can now be configured using 'Setup' in the Draw Chart dialog.

• A Daisy Viewer has been added which allows the drawing of Daisy and other charts to be performed by just chosing a pre-defined chart.

• Double-clicking of headings in Daisy Grids sorts the chosen column.

• A Floating Help Window has been added to improve the help for dialogs.

• The Help has been enhanced with active links.

• HTML Charts which exhibit many of the properties of the charts drawn by Daisy, can now be drawn which can be distributed on the World Wide Web or Intranet.

• Databases can now be saved as HTML Pages.

• Sets of HTML Pages can also be created which form a complete Daisy Relational Web Report. This is a user-friendly, mouse-driven tabular report that is fully navigable and sortable.

• All the links at a particular node or nodes can now be marked using a single command.

• Mapping fields can be disabled without removing them permanently.

• Mapping format; Pos/Zero/Neg has been added.

• A large group of Tests mapping formats, which return 'True' and 'False' have been added.

• The values created by a mapping format can also be tested before the chart is drawn.

• Nodes can now be displayed with the names left blank.

• Node Style for charts has been extended and can now be configured using 'Setup' in the Draw Chart dialog.

• Symbol graphs have been added.

• Profiles have been added so that settings can be saved and retrieved, databases can be automatically opened and charts can be drawn and printed.

• Internation Issues have now been given a full treatment, so that all the major European languages are correctly handled.
