Save Database

Save Database in the File menu saves the database to a local disc or server.

This command can also be called using 'Save' in the toolbar.

The data can be stored in several formats; ADO, comma or tab separated file, Excel etc. This format is chosen in a dialog box, which enables other parameters to be entered as necessary.

Data can be also be saved in the Example format as a database/template pair of files. These can either be used as a Daisy Example or as part of a presentation or demonstration.

** New - An Overwrite without Question check box is provided, so that databases can be overwritten without a check question.

** New - Databases can now be saved as a series of linked HTML Pages.

** New - Templates can also be used to hold the settings of the save.

When saving in an Excel format, using ADO or as a Daisy Example, extra boxes determine how the data is formatted.

All Excel workbooks/worksheets created by Daisy are fully compatible with Microsoft Excel 95 or later.
