Check boxes in the Calculation frame of the Draw Chart dialog box are normally used to configure the calculation to suit the type of problem.

** New - 'Setup' has also been added which gives even more control.

There are four check boxes in the Calculation frame :-

• Links sets whether links are to be calculated or not.

  By default, links are always drawn and calculated. Normally, they are only not drawn, when you are using Daisy as a quick means of accessing a complicated database and the links are of no relevance.

• Record Tracing sets whether records are traced or not. Uncheck this option if you are not interested in viewing the records, as it will speed the calculation.

• Map Fields with Same Mapping Title Together does just that and is used to do specialist mapping.

• Combine All Mapping Fields sets that all mapping fields will be combined into a single one for the chart.

  Combine All Mapping Fields is used to test for duplicates. Links is disabled when this option is used.

  Use Combine to set up the options for Combine All Mapping Fields.

All of these boxes are duplicated in the Setup... dialog.

Note that some of these boxes may be disabled. For instance, Links when Active Histograms are being drawn.
