Many of the advantages of using Daisy Relational Web Reports make the report very easy-to-use :-

  1. Daisy Relational Web Reports require an absolute minimum of competence with a browser and a mouse. Forget the keyboard!

  2. Sorting of each of the columns is performed by a simple click on the header. Another click and it inverts.

  3. Reports can be setup so that clicking on the record number shows every field in the record.

  4. These 'single record' reports can also be sorted by clicking headers if required.

  5. Full instructions and comments can be incorporated into the reports as the headers and footers are pure HTML.

  6. As there is no server which must generate the reports response is maximised.

  7. The standard reports contain few graphic images, which again improves response.

The writer of the reports has several advantages :-
  1. Every page in a Daisy Relational Web Report is pure HTML and version 3.0 as well!

  2. You do not need to know anything about ASP (Active Server Pages)!

  3. Or Java!

  4. Pages in the report that have not changed keep the original creation date and time.

This enables systems which minimise FTP traffic to be used, if the pages are to be uploaded to a remote server.

  5. As everything is pure HTML in a developing application, nothing that is done affects server integrity.
