Details of extra programs that can be used with Daisy or have been written using any of the components are shown :-
- Daisy POPFile is a program that reads the messages collected by POPFile, which is a 'spam' filtering program
- Daisy WWW Test is a specially constructed program that tests if web sites are operating correctly.
- Daisy News Analyser has been designed to automatically download and analyse news stories from the NewsScape news feed.
- Daisy Phone Analyser has been designed as a simple program that can analyse the call detail record files or CDRs increasingly available from both fixed line and mobile phone companies, such as BT and O2.
Daisy is very suitable for writing monitoring programs of this type.
The first two programs are included in the Daisy Web Tools.
