Profiles are used to store and retrieve settings in the Daisy Opener.

Profiles are controlled from the 'Profiles' frame at the right of the Daisy Opener.

Opener - Profiles

Note that you must use Setup above Run to make sure that profiles can be used.

Note :-

  1. Profiles can be saved and loaded to a file.

Profiles use a .dyo extension, as opposed to .dyp used by Daisy 2003 itself.

  2. Profiles can be E-Mailed together with the database and template.

This is a simple, but very much-preferred, way of distributing your data to third-parties.

  3. They can also be Unzipped from a zip file.

This command is used to receive the profiles that have been E-Mailed.

See Daisy Opener - Profiles in the Help for more details.
