SUE VARTY is currently working as a Consultant at Marchant-Daisley Solicitors. The firm of Marchant-Daisley will become Cambridge Family Law Practice ('CFLP') in early Spring 2007and Sue will be a Partner in this niche family law firm. Sue was until recently a Partner at Kester Cunningham John in Cambridge.

Sue specialises in providing a service to the professional client with a focus on more complicated financial matters including pensions and investment assets, and sensitive children issues. Sue has significant experience in cases where there is an international element. She is an experienced negotiator and advocate.

Having trained as a Collaborative Lawyer in 2004, Sue has extensive experience of the collaborative law approach. As a committee member Sue has been actively involved in the Cambridge Collaborative Family Law Group and is National Liaison Officer for the Cambridge Group. She has been involved in workshops introducing financial professionals and family coaches to collaborative law. Sue is also a member of the Resolution ADR training sub-committee.

Sue has been enthusiastically promoting Collaborative Practice giving numerous presentations including on Sky's LegalTV. Sue has also run workshops for the Cambridgeshire General Practitioner continuing education programme.

Sue is a family specialist recommended in Chambers Legal Directory and Legal 500. She is an accredited specialist with Eurojuris, a member of the IACP, LAWNET and Resolution.
