Break - Date
This mapping format takes a date value and splits it into up to five nodes defined by break values.

Note that this is very much a recommended mapping format as it creates a limited set of nodes, which are easier to view and analyse.
Consider mapping the birthdays of all pupils in a school. If you were to map these directly you would probably get almost as many nodes as pupils to ascertain anything of value. But using Break - Date will produce a small number of nodes split appropriately.
