HTML Chart - Layout
Several HTML Pages and a graphic file are used to make an HTML Chart :-
- The Chart Image file is a standard .gif or .bmp image of the Daisy Chart with say a file name of 'DaisyChart.gif'.
All the other files share the first part of this file name.
- The Main HTML Page is a container for the image and in the example would be called 'DaisyChart.html'.
A small mini-Index is added to this file to link to other HTML Pages.
- An optional Index HTML Page that would have a name of 'DaisyChartIndex.html'.
The format of this file has been designed so that you can easily create your own to add a simple description
or even copious notes to your published HTML Chart.
- Related HTML Pages hold details of the various records, nodes and links and typically have names like 'DaisyChart_AllNodes.html',
'DaisyChart_L_1_1.html' etc.
Note that all of these files are extensively linked by HTML hyperlinks, so that when the HTML Chart is displayed in a browser, you can navigate easily and quaickly between the Chart Image file and all the HTML Pages.
