HTML Chart

** New - Daisy now has the capability of transforming a Daisy or other chart and the underlying data into what is called an HTML Chart.

The structure of an HTML Chart is a series of HTML Pages and a graphical image of the Daisy Chart stored as a Chart Image file. They are all linked together, so that you can navigate the chart solely by the use of the mouse. Just as you would the World Wide Web!

These HTML Pages can of course be uploaded to any web site. No other files or special servers are required.

Daisy can also do the uploading automatically by means of FTP.

The Chart Image file is a standard .gif or .bmp image of the Daisy Chart with say a file name of 'DaisyChart.gif'.

All the other files are described under layout and share the first part of the file name.

Note that when Daisy creates an HTML Page, it does not actually create a new file unless it is different to the previous one. So the date, time and size of the file will not change.
