Partition
Partition is a very powerful mapping format for numeric database fields. When you first map a numeric field always use Partition or the related Break.
The field is mapped into a series of nodes, each of which corresponds to a series of equal range defined by a step value, entered using the mapping option dialog.
Consider a field being mapped using Partition with a step value of 10. This would give nodes of :-
