Options sets how Daisy behaves and handles various situations :-

• Options sets various general options, such as the country code, measurement units, and date, time and hour formats.

• mini-Help sets the default width for the mini-Help window.

  This section has now been succeeded by the main Help Configure command in the Help menu.

• Number, Date and Time Decoding sets how data is decoded in both Daisy, templates and opened databases.

  Note that by default Daisy is setup to accept both periods (.) and commas (,) as decimal separators. This is so that in Europe where the comma is used, the supplied examples can be run successfully.

  Normally, mapping formats return dates and times in the local language. Check this box to always use English.

• Phone Number Decoding sets how phone numbers are decoded into countries, exchanges and areas.

• Databases sets various database options.
