Open URL

Open URL in the File menu is used to open a URL or web page with Daisy.

The page is opened in a copy of your default browser.

Several sub-commands determine which page is actually opened :-

• Web Page opens a web page chosen from a dialog.

• Home Page opens the defined home page in your browser.

• Search Page opens your defined search page.

• Map opens a map after reading the location.

• News searches for news after reading the search string.

• Search performs a search for an entered string.
