This dialog is used to open Excel workbooks and worksheets as databases.

First select the Excel file, either from the pull-down list which show the last 20 files opened or by using '...'.

The worksheets in the workbook will then be displayed in the list. Select the one you wish to open.

Choose how to access the column names that will be used. Note that the fields in 9 and data in 11 option is the default for Excel workbooks and worksheets created by Daisy.

Note that the reading options can be used to ignore rows containing fewer than a given number of values, and set the maximum rows to be read and the maximum width allowed for each field.
