Node Limits can be set, which apply to all nodes in the Daisy or other chart.
There are four main limits, which can be set :-
- Records can have both an upper and a lower limit. For a node to be drawn in a chart, the number of records associated with the node, must lie in the defined range.
- Links applies a similar limit to the number of links at a node.
- Weighting applies a limit based on the value of the weighting at the node. This limit cannot be used unless the chart has been drawn with a weighting.
- Show First, Last etc. shows the first or last few nodes in the mapping fields. A number, such as 12, must be entered for this limit.
All limits must be met for a node to be included in the chart.
Note that when setting limits only, the calculations do not need to be performed to redraw the chart.
Single Node in Group is a set of options, that define how single nodes in a mapping field are shown.
