A report on Radiation Contamination of Canada
The attached zip probably contains a virus. There are No nuclear power stations in the suburbs of London. On Internet forums there appeared messages of a powerful explosion at a United Kingdom nuclear power station located in the suburbs of London.. According to witnesses’ statements the explosion happened at about 3 pm on the 9th of September. In particular, one resident of this town has made a call and had time to inform her relatives that connection in the town was being cut off in order not to let people phone somebody. She insists that the explosion really took place at the nuclear power station, and that it was a really powerful one, and now the radiation cloud is moving. This information is being unofficially confirmed in public agents’ private conversations.
Besides, local residents place pictures of the explosion consequences and victims’ bodies in their blogs.

CNN Alerts
There are an extraordinary number of these polluting the Internet. Yesterday I had 28,687 spam messages, which is typical and just a little bit up on the last few weeks, where I have averaged about 25 to 26,000 a day. But in those messages were 3,551 messages with a title of CNN Alerts. These are trying to download a virus to my computer. In other words 12.4% of all spam messages I received are for this nasty virus. When are governments going to target these people? Labels: virus

More on the Airline Ticket Virus Delivery
The Midwest Airlines scam I reported yesterday has now been analysed by McAfee Avert Labs. It is a virus and is a variant of Spy-Agent.bw. Follow their advice and never open unknown attachments or click links that you don't trust. Also make sure you have virus protection, as if you do in nearly all cases you will be protected. I should say that I've used McAfee for many years and they've done me well. But we all have our own preferences and there are a number of reputable virus and spyware protection systems on the web. Some good ones are free. I used AVG for some time, but found that it was not for me. They have a free version, which a lot of my friends and family swear is very good. Labels: virus
Midwest Airlines
I have just received a new variant of the United Parcels/Customs Service virus delivery e-mail. As I don't go to the United States because they have the death penalty amongst many other things, it was obviously something not to open. So I didn't. It was also sent to lqr@daisy.co.uk, which is an e-mail address that has never been allocated. Good day, Thank you for using our new service "Buy flight ticket Online" on our website. Your account has been created:
Your login: Lqr Your password: passAQ55
Your credit card has been charged for $417.16. We would like to remind you that whenever you order tickets on our website you get a discount of 10%! Attached to this message is the purchase Invoice and the flight ticket. To use your ticket, simply print it on a color printed, and you are set to take off for the journey!
Kind regards, Derick Darnell Midwest Airlines As an update to this, I've got nearly 200 for all different airlines in my spam trap. Note the spelling mistake - "simply print it on a color printed". Printed not printer. Use this to create a rule to make sure it goes in your Junk E-Mail folder. Labels: virus

Infected Photo Frames
This is not really something about making the most of the Internet, but a weird way of getting your computer infected by a virus. Just attach an infected photo frame to your computer and you catch something nasty. Sounds weird. But this article says it's true. Labels: hardware, virus
