Fatima Iyesa

Fuck me, another God-Tosser who's got it bad.

Fraud.

One out of five.

My Dearest In Christ,
May God Be Praised!!!

I am Mrs. Fatima Iyesa Ismiana, from Kuwait.I am married to Usman Ismiana of blessed memory who worked with Kuwait embassy in Madrid Spain for nine years before he died in the year 2004.

We were married for eleven years without a child he died after a brief illness that lasted only four days. Before his death he was a very devoted Muslim and I was a devoted Christian by birth battling with both cancer and fibroid problems when my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $5million dollars (FIVE million dollars) with an overseas finance and security firm. Presently, this money is still with finance and security firm.

Recently, my doctor told me that I had a terminating illness (cancer) that would last for the next four months. Though what disturbs me most is my stroke s ickness, having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to either a Christian organization or a devoted Christian individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct here in. I want this Christian organization or individual to use this money in all sincerity to fund churches, orphanages, widows and also propagating the word of God and to ensure that the society upholds the views and beliefs of the holy bible. The holy bible emphasized so much on the giving of alms, charity and this has encouraged me in taking this bold step.

I took this decision because I don't have any child to start from and where I will stop and my husband's relatives are all Muslims and I don't want my husband hard earned money to be misused by people that call me an unbeliever. I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an unholy manner hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I know that after death I will be with God the most high and the most merciful one. I don't need any telephone communications but will only give you the contact of my lawyer Barri Steve Nelson. because he is the one who is going to assist you in making you the beneficiary of the consignment in the finance and security firm.

With God, I know that all thing are possible and as soon as I receive your reply through my lawyer I will now give him instruction to make you the beneficiary of the consignment and all necessary steps to take before receiving these funds and I shall also give you the contact of the finance and security firm I will also issue you a letter of authority that will prove you as the original beneficiary of the funds.

I want you and the Christian community where you reside to always pray for me. My happiness is that I lived a life of a true devoted Christian though married to a Muslim, whoever that wants to serve God must serve him in truth and in spirit, please always be prayerful all through your life. Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for another Christian organization or a devoted Christian for the same purpose. Until I hear from you my dreams will rest squarely on your shoulders, may the Almighty God continue to guide and protect you.

Amen.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs. Fatima Iyesa Ismiana.

Prevx

I was impressed with this company's software, who seemed to have solved my problems with the football babes.

I'll buy the software at the affordable price of about fifteen pounds, if it protects me for the next thirty days of the free trial.

HijackThis

This is a powerful tool that can be used to identify possible threats to your computer, that might hijack it and use it for all sorts of nefarious purposes.

This link I give goes directly to one of the many pages that feature the software. But if you want to learn more type "HijackThis" into a search engine.

As of March 12th, 2007, it would appear that HijackThis and CWShreeder have been sold to Trend Micro. This appeared on the Merijn.org website.

From what is said, it looks like this will produce a better program.

Dell Computer Installation

I used to recommend Dell computers highly in that their systems, delivery and support were all you could want.

However, I've just installed a new machine for Celia and getting it to perform well has been a nightmare. The computer was loaded with a whole load of junk that I would never buy.

For instance, there was a program called the Dell Network Analyser, which all it seemed to do was chew up 99% of the CPU. Once I'd deleted this piece of junk, the machine ran a lot better.

There was also the garbage from AOL, which no-one serious ever uses. Norton Host was something I didn't want to.

I just wish they wouldn't add all this unnecessary software when they sell a machine. It would be so easy to write a small software downloader, that gave you the choice of what Dell recommended products you needed to add.

Refreshing Browser

I was asked by a client to provide a browser with no borders that refreshed. Not that easy, as you need to have some means of control, so that you can switch the program off and configure it. I solved that with a small control panel you can click in the corner.

His application sounds bizarre in that he wanted to display text messages on a screen in an entertainment venue, such as a bar, pub or club. Think about it though and your mind races as to what purposes you'd use such a system for. I will not speculate here. But as you can see he wants the maximum screen and he wants it to look like television rather than a web browser.

I succeeded and the result was an update to my Refreshing Browser.

The applications have since cracked on apace.

I have friends who use it to demo their product on the web as on a laptop the extra screen space is valuable.

The program can now be script driven, so that sequences of web pages, such as news, sport and adverts can be put together as simple displays for a shop, cafe or pub.

Thinking this through, you could have a company like Starbucks, that has a display in each cafe, that serves up a mixture of news, sports and adverts, silently to all their customers. It would only require a standard PC with a large plasma screen and an broadband Internet connection. All control would be central, with only a reboot required locally.

I ran this through with the manager of my local computer store which is part of a large UK chain and he was very enthusiastic for all sorts of reasons, but mainly the central control which would save his staff time.

I have received several enthusiastic reactions and feel it should be shared as many on this list, may have applications in their companies or clients.

Blogger versus WordPress

I've integrated several Blogger blogs into web sites and found it pretty easy to modify a standard template to how I wanted it. It helps a lot if you choose a template that has a similar layout to what you want.

The blog shows a Blogger blog fully integrated into a web site, but just changing the Scribe template. I just added my header and links to the top of the template, moved a few things about and it looks totally different and fully integrated. Anybody who knows HTML and CSS to a reasonably level would have no problems.

I've recently set up a blog for someone on WordPress. It would appear that to change things as radically as I have done with the example, would mean that I have to pay money.

So I would always choose Blogger over WordPress, if I wanted to integrate a blog.

Note that you have the problem that once you've created a large blog, it is a devil's own job to move it.

It is also a good idea to store the created blog on a domain for which you have control, so that if you have to move it, you at least have the HTML.

I shall investigate the other blog sites, to see if any others are better.

Outlook 2003 Junk E-Mail Options

The Junk E-mail filter in Outlook 2003 is very good and works well to cut out most of the junk e-mail you receive. There are various levels that can be set and there are lots of options to both include and exclude certain e-mail addresses, domains, countries and languages.

A Junk E-Mail Options

The image shows the junk e-mail options control in Outlook 2003. It is called from the Junk E-mail command in the Actions menu of the program.

Shown is first set of options, which set the general level of protection against junk e-mail.

Note :-

1. The filter is set to Low which handles most situations successfully.

2. Other settings are much stricter but may cause more problems by classifying real e-mails as junk.

3. ‘Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail’ is not checked, as this allows occasional mistakes to be easily corrected.

4. The last option is checked as this protects against unsafe and fraudulent sites.

Experiment with the settings, so that they give the protection you require.

A Junk E-Mail Options

The second image shows the Safe Senders list, displayed by clicking the appropriate tab.

Note :-

1. This dialog is very comprehensive and you can add, edit and remove e-mail addresses.

2. You can also import and export these addresses to and from file.

3. Check boxes allow your contacts to be treated as safe and to automatically add anybody you e-mail.

Two other tabs, Safe Recipients and Blocked Senders are similar to Safe Senders. The last tab, International, allows blocking of certain countries and language types.

The Junk E-mail Options dialog in Outlook 2003 give a full set of options that in nearly all cases can make sure that your junk e-mail is reduced to a minimum, without any adverse affects.

A note is now available for downloading and distribution which gives full details.

Feel free to read and distribute as you require.

Checking Links with Outlook 2003

Outlook 2003 has a very useful feature for checking whether an e-mail is from the person you think it is.

Look at this fragment of an e-mail supposedly from HSBC.

Phishing E-Mail Fragment - Click for full e-mail

Note how I've moved the mouse over the URL in the e-mail and Outlook 2003 shows what the real URL is. What has merlin.connectability.com got to do with HSBC?

Nothing! This e-mail is a phishing scam.

Who the hell is CACATUL anyway?

Spam Fighting with Outlook 2003

I have recently changed to Outlook 2003 in order to test out the spam filter.

As I learn more and more about Outlook 2003, I can honestly say that the program is an order of magnitude better than Outlook XP.

My method of working is as follows :-

  • I have the Junk filter in Outlook 2003 set to Low. This seems to stop most of the spam, which it places in the Junk E-Mail folder.
  • I have the Junk E-Mail folder ordered by From, so that I can do a quick scan to see if anybody there is a friend not a spammer.
  • Every so often I move the contents of the Junk E-Mail folder to my spam store, where I hold every message I get. This may seem daft, but I analyse it for patterns.
  • A normal sane person would delete the spam.
  • If I find a message in the Junk E-Mail folder, which is not junk, I just mark it as such and Outlook 2003 can be set to remember the name.
  • All of this means that Outlook 2003 has quickly learned who are friends and who are foe.
Excellent!
