The Daisy Chart is a graphical representation of all the winners at Newmarket horse races in 1992. (The data is courtesy of Newmarket Racecourses Trust.)

The data has been analysed into three sets of nodes, each of which is shown as an arc of the circular Daisy Chart. These are Jockeys, Trainers and Owners. Each group of nodes is shown in decreasing order of the Number of Winners, with only the first twelve nodes being shown.

Two histograms are shown on each node; the cyan shows the Number of Winners and the green the Total Prize Money Won.

The lines or links between the nodes show the relative strengths of the connections between nodes. The darker the link, the greater Number of Winners involving the two nodes.
