Save - Database Type
Several types or formats can be used when saving a database :-
- Comma-Separated saves the database as a file with each field/column separated by a comma.
- Tab-Separated uses tabs instead of commas.
- Excel Workbook saves the database as a new worksheet in a new or existing Microsoft Excel workbook.
- ADO saves the database using an ADO connection.
- HTML saves the database as a series of HTML Pages.
- Example saves the database and the associated settings as a database/template pair of files.
When saving in an Excel or HTML format, by using ADO or as a Daisy Example, extra boxes determine how the data is formatted.
All Excel workbooks/worksheets created by Daisy are fully compatible with Microsoft Excel 95 or later.
