SQL

SQL is the standard 'Query Language' that is used to obtain views of records and fields in databases.

A typical SQL statement is shown.

  SELECT * FROM WINNERS

This would create a view containing all the fields in the table 'WINNERS'.

When using ADO to open a database Daisy calls a simple 'SQL Builder', which generates a record source.

Just choose the database or table and check the various boxes.
