The ADO sub-command in the Open Database command in the File menu is used to open databases using an ADO connection.

Before using ADO to open a database the following must be true :-

• You must be using either Daisy Standard or a more powerful version.

• ADO must be installed on your computer.

  Note that all versions of Windows after and including Windows 2000 include a version of ADO that can be used to run Daisy.

• The ADO box must be checked in the Options command in the Options menu.
