Applications - Traffic Profiling

Traffic Profiling is the categorisation and analysis of the traffic on and between telecommunication platforms, systems, networks and individual lines.

Daisy can produce both simple tabular reports and sophisticated, but easy-to-understand, active graphical reports, called Daisy Charts.

Note that the approach used in Daisy is not restricted to any one make of platform, as an intermediate approach is used, where all data files are changed into the same format. Daisy Analysis has very comprehensive software to fulfil this need.

Similar techniques can be used by carriers on trunk routes, Internet Service Providers (ISP's) on web sites and servers, and even by local and national governments to analyse more traditional traffic on road and rail networks.
